Honors in Major Application

The 'Honors in Major' program is designed to encourage students to undertake applied or original work in their major field during their senior year (final two semesters). This opportunity is extended to students who have excelled, academically, at Nova Southeastern University and currently hold a cumulative GPA of 3.8 or higher. 

Please Note: If you are pursuing two different majors, you should submit one application for each major if you're requesting to be considered for Honors in Major for each major. 

Application Deadlines (preceding year):

  • May degree completion: April 15
  • August degree completion: November 1 
  • December degree completion: November 1

Are you already a Farquhar Honors College Student?*
Are you currently completing, or planning to complete, an Honors Research Thesis project?*
Please note that Honors in Major projects should be different from Honors Research Thesis projects.
