Tennille Davis Shuster’s interests in letterpress printing, non-traditional binding methods, and paper marbling fuel her desire to elevate graphic design–a field often characterized by transience and confined by commerce – to a more organic, precious, and self-expressive format. A recipient of the Florida Artists’ Book Prize, Shuster’s work is widely exhibited and resides in private and public collections including the Bienes Museum of the Modern Book, Iraq National Library, Duke University, and Jaffe Center for Book Arts. Shuster attends Honors College events including banquets, induction ceremonies, and field trips. In addition, her students participate in the logo design contest for NSU’s annual Undergraduate Student Symposium.
