Farquhar Honors College

Whether you want to make new friends, connect with faculty, or learn about unique topics, honors events are the perfect way to get involved beyond the classroom. We host a variety of social, cultural, and educational events each semester exclusively for honors students, including:

  • Faculty-led workshops on trending, worldly topics

  • Theatre and museum trips

  • Current events forums

  • Guest speakers, including scientists, social activists, writers, artists, and researchers

  • Alumni panels and Q&As

  • Celebratory receptions

  • Festive socials

These honors events are free and open to the public.

The Honors College built a community that I was really lucky to be a part of. It offered so many opportunities to branch outside of my major and immediate interests to learn and experience new things. The honors activities were always some of my favorites, especially events like the Murder Mystery Dinner.
