Diego Castano is a theoretical physicist who has researched and published in the area of particle physics. His collaborative publication, “Renormalization Group Study of the Standard Model and its Extensions,” has been cited more than 400 times in peer-reviewed journals. Castano presented a lecture on his personal experiences in genetic genealogy as part of the honors seminar Genetics and Genealogy, and he presented a lecture on rocketry and launched a model rocket at an Honors College event.
