Assistant Professor - Writing & Communication
Halmos College of Arts and Sciences
Mario A. D'Agostino is an Assistant Professor of Writing at Nova Southeastern University, where he oversees numerous visual art and writing initiatives. His work investigated the intersection between curation, museology, and writing, and applies curatorial technique to contemporary narratives to explore their power and potential as meaning-making devices. His scholarship has appeared in Writing Spaces; Diverse Pedagogical Approaches to Experiential Learning, Volume II; and he served as Editor-in-Chief of Experiential Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (ELTHE). He currently serves on the Editorial Board for Metropolitan Universities Journal.
My research focus primarily deals with curation and museological techniques and their application to writing and literature. I also just completed an MA in Art Education, Administration, and Policy, and I assist with our Art + Design program in DCMA.
