Vicki Toscano received a doctoral degree in philosophy and a law degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she held the Hourani Scholarship for Ethics and the Gilbert D. Moore Fellowship. Toscano also was awarded the Dorothea S. Clarke Gender, Sexuality, and Family Fellowship at Cornell University. Before working at NSU, Toscano taught at the University of Miami Law School and held a visiting scholar position at Keele University in England. Her passion is working with undergraduate students to develop their critical thinking skills through writing and close analysis of philosophical/legal arguments. Her current research examines abortion law in the U.S. through the lens of constitutional abortion jurisprudence and bioethical ideals.
