Dr. Yvette Fuentes teaches a wide range of courses in Spanish language and literature, and in the Humanities, in the Department of Humanities and Politics. Her research and teaching interests include Latin American and Peninsular Spanish Literature, particularly women’s fiction and poetry, U.S. Latinx Literature and Culture, and Cuban and Cuban-American Studies. Her publications have appeared in such journals as Anthurium: A Caribbean Studies Journal, Camino Real: A Multidisciplinary Journal on U.S. Latino Studies, Caribe: Revista de Cultura y Literatura, Hispanic Research Journal, and Letras Femeninas. Dr. Fuentes regularly participates in Honors College activities on campus.
