Research Focus


Saeed Rajput is an innovator with two patents and several pending patents. While he held senior positions as security director in eTrango and security and software architect at Milgo solutions (Racal Datacom), he also was an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Miami. Later he worked as vice president of engineering at Cerebit and visiting associate professor at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). At FAU, Rajput established the computer science program at the Treasure Coast (Port St. Lucie) campus, initiated application security framework group in the TCN laboratory, and managed two new research programs with Motorola in the TCN laboratory. He has conceptualized, designed, and managed the development of several products. Rajput brings 14 years of diverse, creative and visionary software development, and academic experience to NSU. He is a CISSP and a senior member of IEEE. Rajput was the faculty advisor for the Honors thesis, “Next Generation Event Scheduling System,” which was successfully defended by Honors student Jeremy Cantor in 2014.
