Aarti Raja is involved with the Small World Initiative established by the Yale University Center for Teaching. This is a unique program aimed to engage undergraduate students in research. Raja also mentors and trains students who travel to Harvard Medical School to participate in a summer research internship that studies HIV envelope glycoproteins. She serves as serves as faculty advisor of Rho Rho Rho, the NSU chapter of Beta Beta Beta, the national biological honor society.
