Kate Waites has played an active role in the Honors Program since its inception—attending induction ceremonies and banquets, leading or co-leading workshops, and designing and teaching the course, The “F” Word: Feminism and Culture. She also participates in programs that encourage Honors students and faculty to interact on an informal basis, such as films, dinners, Trivial Pursuit, and kayaking trips.
