Stephen E. Thompson received a Ph.D. in Egyptology from Brown University in 1991, and has served as an adjunct assistant professor of Egyptology at Brown University and an adjunct assistant professor of archaeology at Boston University. He has also taught at Rhode Island College, Brigham Young University and Florida Atlantic University. He has been working in secondary education for the past 25 years, and has had various leadership positions during that time, including Dean of Students and High School Principal. He is currently an associate director in the Upper School at NSU University School. His most recent publication is Ancient Egypt Facts and Fictions, published by ABC-CLIO in 2019.
